Tanya represented one of metro Atlanta’s largest school districts for a number of years, litigating premises liability claims as well as claims arising under Section 1983. She has also litigated cases involving many other government entities. As a result of this experience, Tanya has a strong understanding of sovereign immunity issues, as well as discrimination, sexual assault liability and contract disputes, particularly as they arise in this context. Tanya also has represented individuals in cases challenging the employment decisions of school boards and other municipalities.
